Wavy Movy is a festival for experimental music that has a strong interest in the visual. The pieces we feature treat the material of music composition as porous and expansive. They employ instruments and electronic sound, but also lighting, video, faces, drawings, bodies, props, and staging. Sometimes the pieces tell stories with words, but often the narrative is abstract and contained within the music itself, personal to each audience member.
